First 2009 West Nile case for state reported in Jeffco...nice

The first case of West Nile virus this year in Colorado has been reported in Jefferson County.

The patient is recovering at home, according to a media release by Jefferson County Public Health and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

"West Nile virus season is here and everyone should take precautions," said Jim Dale, director of JCPH.
